Halloumi cheese has a naturally mild and briny flavor. It is the perfect combination of a hard cheese with a smooth and slightly creamy inside. It is for this reason that a sweet sauce would complement it so perfectly. The date and blueberry sauce offers a sweet, toffee flavor with some notes of coriander and black pepper, and warm spices such as cardamom and cumin.
