Hangry Chocolate Recipes Unforgettable Black Forest Tart

Unforgettable Black Forest Tart

Trust us when we say, this black forest tart may take an hour to make but once it's done it will certainly be eaten in under an hour.

We don’t know about you, but when we think of chocolate desserts, we start salivating and our minds go to dangerously delicious places. This Black Forest Tart is no exception! Made up of the most rich and moist chocolate sponge, along with a whipped cream cheese frosting, soaked in decadent cherry liqueur, and topped with cherries and chocolate flakes, what is not to love?

The cherry liqueur adds a bite to the rich chocolate sponge, while the cream cheese and whipped cream add a smoothness and a slight tang. These combinations are certainly one for the books, and result in one of the most luxuriously chocolatey desserts we can think of! If you would like to add some freshness to the tart, top it off with some chopped strawberries or raspberries.

For a dessert so indulgent, it sure does not take very long to create- a total of 1 hour will be spent on this delicious treat, and it will be worth every second of that hour. We promise!
