Ingredients
  

CAKE
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cups cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups cups baking flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup milk
SYRUP
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup orange juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C
  2. Cream the butter and eggs together
  3. Add the dry ingredients
  4. Melt the milk and butter together, then add to the mixture
  5. Pour into a greased pastry dish
  6. Bake for 30 min at 170°C
SYRUP
  1. In a saucepan, boil the ingredients together
  2. Pour over the hot cake
  3. Dust with icing sugar then cut into blocks and serve with fresh cream.
